ISGD and FT20 Merge into Mad Music Comedy Zone

Beginning in 2012, due to dire economic conditions, we're going to produce just one 60 minute weekly show called "The Mad Music Comedy Zone" featuring around 40 minutes of featured songs and requests, plus about 20 minutes of your top five funny songs of the week (although we're still producing a top 20 report, we're going to play just the top five).

Furthermore, to allow even more songs to be played, the show will be without a host. David Tanny, who's been abducted by space aliens, won't be able to deejay the show anytime soon. Daniel, his synthsized voice pal substitute, might fill in, but he's got his own schedule and may not be heard every week. So in the spirit of Jack-FM(tm), the show may be with no deejays!

Since the MMCZ will be streamed on madmusic.com, and you can see the playlist, who needs a deejay anyway?

Host the FT20's Top 5 Portion

If anyone wishes to "host" the top five portion of the MMCZ, use The E-Mail to inquire. We'll send you the top five list for you to deejay. If you can do it in one day, that would be great. If not, don't inquire.

Dave's Fun Stuff Radio Streams Shut Down

Due to lack of funds, the live365 streams for Dave's Fun Stuff Radio are being phased out and will no longer be linked from this website. We were just not getting enough listeners and donations in order to keep the streams going. We're terribly sorry about that. It was costing us some $100 a month including electricity costs to upload the stream with fresh material, and with a small playlist space, which was all we could afford, there just wasn't enough people hearing the station to keep it going any longer.

Dave's Fun Stuff Radio is now a production site for the funny radio shows instead of a streaming service. The Mad Music Archive is a defacto distributor for "The Mad Music Comedy Zone", which is then streamed to listeners from that website.
